The daughter of a journalist and a librarian, Annie Wilson has always loved words. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Japanese and History) and a Diploma of Education (TESOL and LOTE) from The University of Western Australia. Annie is fascinated by culture and communication in all forms and has lived and taught ESL and Japanese in places as different as Karratha, rural Victoria, Kochi (Japan), Milan and Melbourne. Animals and plants have a special place in her heart, as do her husband and two children. Annie received a Highly Commended in the ASA Mentorship Program 2020 and currently has a place in the FAWWA Four Centres Emerging Writers Program. She has an ongoing interest in supporting young people, especially those living with a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/POTS diagnosis. She is currently writing contemporary fiction full-time.
