About

Annie Wilson

Author

Annie Wilson is a writer of fiction who has taught Japanese and English for much of her life. Her manuscript Treehearts was long-listed for the 2022 Fremantle Press Hungerford Award, after being Highly Commended in the Australian Society of Authors Mentorship Awards 2021. A second manuscript, Osprey 44, earned her a place in the FAWWA Four Centres Emerging Writers Programme 2021/22. Annie’s YA romances explore communication and connection, and the power and vulnerabilities of being a teenager. Her General Fiction WIP is the story of a grief-stricken woman visiting a coastal town she taught in and fled 25 years earlier. Annie has an ongoing interest in supporting young people living with a disability, particularly those with a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/POTS diagnosis. She is currently writing full-time and has never met a labrador she didn’t want to take home.
